I’m running to fight for you.

Our current representatives are failing on what matters most: affordability, healthcare, and education. I listen to how people in our district are struggling to get by.

We deserve better.

Raised in Fair Oaks and Carmichael, I grew up on food stamps and Medi-Cal, lived in subsidized housing, put myself through college, and supported my family on an educator’s salary.

That version of California, where you can build a better life for your family through hard work and playing by the rules, doesn't exist anymore. The status quo in Sacramento is making life harder for working families. We deserve better. That's why I’m running for State Assembly.

My priorities are clear: bring down the cost of food and gas, make it easier to find affordable housing, provide access to quality and affordable healthcare for all, and ensure all students have quality education.

On affordability, I will demand accountability for every taxpayer dollar spent, protect against price gouging, and prioritize universal affordable childcare. On housing, I will work to cut red tape blocking housing production, provide rental subsidies to prevent homelessness, and speed up affordable housing production. On healthcare, I will prioritize preventive care, protecting Californians from being bankrupted by healthcare costs, and expanding mental health services. On education, we must pay public school teachers and staff what they deserve and invest in early childhood and career technical education.

As a classroom teacher, principal, and superintendent for decades, I made tough decisions balancing budgets and competing priorities. I will bring the same commitment to fighting for our district. This is why I have earned the support of community leaders, nurses, teachers, service workers, and neighborhood advocates.
